In support advancing the development of a World Health Organization Global Strategy on Organ Donation and Transplantation the UAE Ministry of Health, together with the Ministries of Health of Spain and India, will co-host a special event during the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA79) in Geneva May 18-23, 2026 – with TTS participating – and you are welcome to join!
The WHA side event focussing on “From Awareness to Action: Advancing Global Best Practices in Organ Donation and Transplantation” will be held on May 21st, 2026 at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, from 18:00 to 19:30 CET and will be include a hybrid format. All attending the World Health Assembly are welcome to attend in person, while the virtual format will allow participation from anywhere in the world.
